Do you know our life on earth is but a breath compared to eternity?

Even with that knowledge, we put the majority or all of our efforts in the here and now.

If there is anything I have gained through all of my suffering, it's that this life is not our own.  The meaningful comes through our difficulty.  Our purpose and the power to carry it out, is learned in our poverty.  When we fully realize our inability to cope, our focus is finally taken off of ourselves.

Where to put it?

On the One who has given you life and love for eternity.

I am there again as I have been before and should be always, seeking His will in the next thing, not wanting to go forward without His green light.

He will use what we have gained for His purpose, if we ask.

He will love through our pain, if we allow it.
