Until He Comes

If we could know how the very first lie began the weaving of a web so intricate, so convoluted, so devastating, then maybe, just maybe, we 'd have a hint of understanding of the suffering in this world. Lie upon lie within lie, weaving the reasons for death, disease and destruction.

He gave us the freedom to choose from the very beginning. Mankind has repeatedly chosen himself and would then like to place the blame on the One who loves.

The One who loves us through our bad choices.

The One who loves us through the consequences of others bad choices.

The One who loves us through the worlds bad choices.

And still He will dry every tear,

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes"

renew a steadfast spirit,

"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me"

and give the power to overcome.

"You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in
you is greater than the one who is in the world"

In the meantime, we hurt with hope. We hurt with our hope attached to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

He came into this broken world as a baby and then a man to begin the healing and extend His grace to the fallen. We must continue to cling to that truth with all we have as the world we live in keeps spinning in ways we don't understand.

"Only hold on to what you have until I come." Revelation 2:25
